.... it's rather hard to come up for an idea for someone for something they can do as a hobby when they tell you that most of the things they did or "like" were of the "not-so-legal" variety.

Hey, has anyone seen Jounouchi-kun? I knocked on his door and there wasn't any answer. I went and checked the arcade and I didn't seem him. I asked Elise-san as well, and she hasn't seen him either.

I remember someone mentioning a picnic some time ago... is that still going on?

Because something Dick-san said has gotten me thinking. There's who knows how many of us here now, but how many of us actually know each other? Maybe we should use this picnic as a type of "building getting to know you" event or something. And maybe those of us who don't know each other could make some friends. Especially if we're all going to be stuck here until whenever we go home.

I don't have to keep annoying Jounouchi-kun for duels when I'm bored or feel the need to brush up on my skills, I can just go down to the local game shop and hang out there. Most of the people there seem to be mostly into Magic-type games, but still, I managed to convince a couple of them to play and taught them the ropes.

As much as I miss home, Jii-chan, Mou Hitori no Boku, Anzu, Honda-kun and the others, it's nice to be somewhere where I'm not recognized for my title and I can just play a couple of Duels just for fun, instead of having every moved analyzed. I almost forgot what it was like to Duel like that.

Oh, and Jounouchi-kun? I'm... ah... all those high schools you logged at the arcade? I'm afraid that someone knocked you down a spot.

Hm. I can't believe that the date passed me by and I didn't even notice until I happened to look at my calendar.

Happy Year Anniversary to me, I guess. Although, I'm kinda glad for this place, I made friends that I wouldn't have otherwise had.

I just hope that they're doing okay, wherever they are.

Almost like something out of a bad movie or one of those shows that Jii-chan likes (when he's not watching the Dueling Channel).

Well, that certainly could have been worse. I kind of liked being the storekeeper, even if it reminded me of Jii-chan and home.

Speaking of which, I wonder what Mou Hitori no Boku is up to now... it's been a few months since he left, I wonder how time passes there compared to here....

Mmm... I think I'll see if I can't go down to the arcade or find some place to practice Duel Monsters. Can't let myself get rusty, after all.

I guess it's a good thing I still have the clothes I got the last time this happened.

This reminds me of being at home, except for the fact that it's not Jii-chan's shop that I'm currently working in. I've always enjoyed being around games, and I guess this was the right fit for me, especially since it's not like I have much experience doing anything else besides playing card games and solving really really hard puzzles.
